Extracting split archives: how to open .7z.001
Download every part, put them in one folder, extract only the .7z.001. Done.

Download every file in the folder. If there is a "Part 1" and "Part 2" (第一部分 / 第二部分), download both.

Put all the files in one folder. If a file name contains "--delete", remove that text.

Extract only the .7z.001 (on a computer: right-click, Extract here). The other parts follow automatically.

Use Bandizip on a computer and 解压专家 on a phone. Files over 8 GB need a computer.
To avoid takedowns, large videos are split into several parts. They are packed, not compressed: picture quality is untouched and extraction is fast.

"Corrupt file", "unknown format" or "needs other volumes"
Nine times out of ten a download is incomplete or a part is missing (especially a forgotten Part 2). Next most likely: the wrong app, or a large file extracted on a phone. Go through the four steps above again.
The file name ends with "--delete"
Remove "--delete" from the name so it reads xxx.7z.001, xxx.7z.002 again, then extract.
I got .win files
Rename them: 001.win to .7z.001, 002.win to .7z.002 and so on, then extract the .001.
Which app should I use?
On a computer, Bandizip (the free version is enough; it's what we pack with, for Windows and Mac). On a phone, 解压专家. Avoid 360, QQ and WeChat's built-in extractors; the Mac's built-in Archive Utility wrongly reports a bad password. Extracting needs no VIP and costs nothing.
Can I extract on a phone?
Yes, but with files over 8 GB a phone usually reports "wrong password" or "out of memory". For large files, and if you are new to this, extract on a computer and copy the video to your phone.
Only the .001 extracts; the .002 does nothing
That's normal. The .002 is an extra part that extracts together with the .001; you never extract it on its own.
All I got were text files
That's the subtitle pack. The videos are in other folders on the drive; download them all and extract each one.
Extraction is slow
Speed depends on your device. A computer is much faster than a phone.
