How do subtitles work? Why are there none?

External .srt subtitles: same folder and same name as the video, and they load automatically.

One-minute videoWatch the video, or follow the steps

  1. 1
Put the subtitle file in the same folder as the video.
  2. 2
Give it the same name as the video (keep the extension). If the names differ, rename the subtitle to match.
  3. 3
Open it in a proper player: computers load it automatically; on a phone, choose the subtitle in the player.

Where do I download subtitles?

In the Baidu Netdisk or PikPak folder, or from the separate subtitle download above the ed2k links. Subtitles work with any drive; with 115, upload them next to the video yourself.

Why does this episode have no subtitles / no Baidu Netdisk?

Full group-stream episodes (熊猫班, Jinricp, etc.) come with external Chinese subtitles. Work starts once the whole episode has aired, so they usually arrive a few hours to a day later.
Solo streams have no subtitles and no Baidu Netdisk by default: a single stream can run for hours, and translating and proofreading it line by line takes a lot of work; the content is also too explicit for Baidu, where it gets taken down fast.
If you really want subtitles or a Baidu version of a particular stream, message us for a custom quote based on length and workload.

Are the subtitles machine translated? Is there English?

AI translation with human editing. There is no English version yet. We don't burn subtitles in, so members anywhere can swap languages themselves.

Subtitles don't show when playing in the cloud drive

Cloud drive players don't load external subtitles. Download the video and watch it in a player.
